Mariela Vargas-Irwin, PsyD, BCBA-D
Dr. Vargas obtained her doctoral degree from Rutgers University, completed her internship at Boston Children’s Hospital, and pursued post-doctoral training at the Judge Baker Children’s Center. She has over twenty years of experience working with children with autism and other developmental disorders with behavioral challenges. Dr. Vargas has worked as a home-based behavioral therapist, overseen home-based programs, designed training protocols for ABA therapists and supervisors, and consulted with families and schools. Her interests include verbal behavior and the development of inclusionary programs for children.
Jessica Chmyzinski, EdS., BCBA, LABA

Jessica Chmyzinski has worked with children of all abilities for the past seventeen years. When her own children were young she ran a child care program for ten years. During that time she earned a BA in early care and education with a concentration in special education from Umass Amherst. She went on to earn a MS in special education and then an Ed.S. in applied behavior analysis (ABA) with a certificate in autism from Bay Path Uni versity. She has been working in public school systems and delivering home-based services for the past seven years.
Adam Healy, M.Ed, BCBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Adam has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for the last eight years, with three years serving as a BCBA. Adam has experience working as a classroom teacher, a behavior therapist, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a wide range of children. He completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. Adam began his ABA career working in a residential school for highly behavioral adolescents. He received his Master’s in Education and ABA at the University of Massachusetts. Adam has worked in both schools and the home setting as a behavior therapist and as a BCBA with all ages of children. He has experience teaching, consulting, and training in residential, home, corporate, and school settings.
Julia House, M.Ed, BCBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Julia has been involved with the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for 15 years. She has worked as an assistant teacher for a special needs collaborative, a personal care attendant providing respite care, a behavior technician in the home setting, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Julia has worked with children on the Autism Spectrum ranging from 1.75 years old to 21 years old of all abilities. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Syracuse University. Julia has a Master of Science in Behavior Analysis from Simmons College. Julia has worked with ABLS for over four years. She is passionate about helping people with autism achieve their true potential.
Jessica Friedrich, M.A., BCBA, LABA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Jessica has worked with children in a variety of different settings for the past 5 years, and with children with developmental disabilities for the past 4 years, serving as a BCBA for 1 of those years. She began her career in ABA 3 years ago, where she fell in love with the field and the children. Jessica completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Westfield State University where she continued her education to complete her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has experience working in a school system with children of all ages and in the home setting with children ranging from 1 to 16 years old.
Ms. Mole obtained her Master’s of Social Work from Smith College in 2012. She has seven years experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders using Applied Behavioral Analysis. She has experience running social skills groups and using ABA with children with various developmental delays in private homes, group homes, and school settings. Ms. Mole also has six years experience working as a Clinical Social Worker with all ages in an elementary school and outpatient health center setting using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other approaches.
Kate Warner, MSW, LICSW
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Ms. Warner obtained her Master’s degree from Simmons College School of Social Work in 2008. She earned her undergraduate degree at Middlebury College where she studied Theatre Arts. She has over 5 years of professional experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. She has provided direct developmental support to young children as well as psychotherapy to children, adults, and families. She has led socialization groups as well as parent support and psychoeducational groups. She utilizes CBT and other evidence-based methods in her practice and is passionate about helping individuals and families lead the healthiest and most fulfilling lives possible.
Taylor Young, MSW
Clinical Social Worker
Ms. Young obtained her Master’s of Social Work from Boston College in 2016. She has over 10 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities across myriad settings including hospitals, residential programs, detention centers, public and private schools, and clients’ homes. Additionally, she has over four years experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders using Applied Behavioral Analysis. Taylor was the recipient of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Grant in the final year of her graduate studies and privileged to be trained in the adolescent behavioral health workforce. Ms. Young obtained her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Psychology from Northeastern University. She is passionate about fusing the rigor of behaviorism with the compassion and collaboration of psychotherapy.

Matthew graduated with a degree in Psychology from Bates College, and has studied globalization, mental health, and education around the world. Matthew brings over ten years of education and therapeutic experience to the team, and has worked with children in countries all across the globe. In addition, he has provided consultation services and trainings to school districts and educational companies across the country, and presented in leadership and technology conferences nation wide. Matthew has worked with ABLS for over 5 years, and in his spare time is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys rock climbing, kayaking, and hiking across New England.
